I've been using my external HDD a lot of times before on my Macbook Pro 13" OS X version 10.9.5, but it doesn't seem to appear in my Finder anymore. It can be seen in Disk Utility, though. Can anyone help?
Important: This error occurs mainly if the user has an older waypoint and wants to create a range ring in this old waypoint, because even if the program is configured to create range rings expressed in miles for new waypoints, even so the new one range ring created in some old waypoint, will appear with the range measurement in kilometers, and not in nautical miles, even if it is described in nautical miles in the old waypoint's floating menu, for new waypoints this does not occur.
Garmin Express For Mac Os X 10.9.5
This problem occurs if the user does not previously change the Folder SHIPS > ROUTES / POINTS > NEW WAYPOINTS > WAYPOINT RANGE RINGS > DISTANCE UNIT, from Kilometers to Nautical Miles, because in the floating menu of the properties of each new waypoint, it is shown only as Nautical Miles, even if in the folder mentioned above the option is still Kilometers, but in the selection tab with the title "WAYPOINT RANGE RINGS" if the selected value is "None", then the option to change from Kilometers to Nautical Miles simply does not appear, and therefore the user would not detect that there is a need to make a selection in this box, because otherwise in the new rings created this user does not know which of the options are selected and thus could incur errors, since in the properties floating menu this Kilometers for Nautical Miles check box is not available, simply showing the designation of Nautical Miles, even if it is not. When creating any waypoint and enabling any number of "Range Rings", as the only option is that this "Ring" is expressed in nautical miles, this does not occur, as the "Rings" created are approximately half the correct radius chosen in the properties of the floating menu , for example if you create a waypoint with one or more rings with a radius measurement of 1 nautical mile, or distance between the rings, in fact the new waypoint ring will be displayed in kilometers, therefore smaller than desired radius. This problem does not occur if ringed waypoints were made and imported in versions prior to version OCPN 5.0 so the new versions installed will import this data correctly, however if you create a new waypoint with "Range Rings", the problem it will be evident, and to test it is enough to create a waypoint with a range ring with 1 nautical mile, and once created, measure with the tool available in the program to measure distances, and this will be evident.I've tested it on several computers and the problem is the same, including the new version 5.2It could cause gross errors in navigation with implications for safety, for obvious reasons. 2ff7e9595c
